The St. Regis Grand Hotel is a 19th century designed "Belle Epoque"
hotel. It has been renovated in 1999. This sumptuous hotel has a magnificent antique
décor with soaring ceilings, crystal frescoes and rare antiques.
Located in the "central historico", the very heart of the city, the
St. Regis is close to the Spanish steps and the Trevi Fountain area. The rooms
are richly decorated with gold, cream and red colors and includes many fine objects
like chandeliers, antique furniture, frescoes and marble floor bathrooms. In
the center of Rome's diplomatic and political life, the St. Regis hosts many international
and national heads of state, dignitaries, celebrities and business executives.

the world renowned Vivendo lounge that serves stylish Mediterranean dishes and

that are at a walking distance are: Capitoline Hill, the Forum, Galleria Borghese

The coliseum (Colosseum) and the Vatican city are within 3 km. The airport is
26 km away. 
The St.Regis Grand Hotel was built
in 1894 as Rome's first deluxe hotel. After it's extensive restoration and reopening
in December 1999, the hotel reclaimed its finest hotel in Rome status and surely
know as one of the world's best. The St. Regis was recently awarded to be part
of Conde Nast Traveler's 2002 Gold List.
